It also can avoid obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad at over 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has mop lifter that lifts the pad automatically as it changes between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it to forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop- and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it started to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.
It's a complete and robust product, with its only downsides being the fact that it's costly. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very appealing choice for anyone looking to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mop. We would highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify its cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum. Its price is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mops. It comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is among the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it performed very well throughout the home. It removed 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and was able to lift long hair without getting caught up in. If you're in search of a robot mop and vacuum that can remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while cleaning up wet mess, then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robovac combo packs a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity to power mopping and vacuuming and top-quality obstacles-avoiding. It has a mop with a roller that is self-cleaning, making it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it receives a constant supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes or swept into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked by the tank's heater elements and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The onboard tank holds plenty of water, and it can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
Like many robotic vacuums and mop combos, the S1 Pro is ready to roll out of the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do within the cleaning dock. The mopping system can clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.
The app that runs this appliance is fairly dense, offering a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually initiate the full map and then clean of everything that the device maps, or you can select particular rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map the area and determine the most efficient way to clean it.
The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, like the other Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system performs well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. The most obvious flaw with this device is the absence of a mop after vacuum option which could be an issue for people who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning their robot.
